Beginners American Mahjong at The Hidden Parlor in Andover, Massachusetts

Mahjong 101 and 102 offer a thoughtfully paced introduction to American Mahjong in a warm, welcoming setting. Whether discovering the game for the first time or building on the fundamentals, each series is designed to help players develop confidence, understand strategy, and enjoy the experience of play.

Instruction includes tile setup, the National Mah Jongg League card, the Charleston, game flow, etiquette, hand selection, strategy, and the confidence to join future open and guided play. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction, thoughtful questions, and plenty of time at the table.

Tile sets are provided for use during class. National Mah Jongg League cards must be purchased separately.
