About The Hidden Parlor

An American Mahjong Clubhouse

The Hidden Parlor Society is an American Mahjong parlor, boutique and social club in downtown Andover. Anyone can visit as a guest, and members enjoy a place of their own to play, gather and belong, whether or not they come for the game.

It was designed as an elegant gathering place, a refined setting to play, learn, and connect.

More than a game, American Mahjong is a tradition of strategy, friendship, and spirited competition. Within The Hidden Parlor, members and guests gather around beautifully appointed tables for thoughtful play, lively conversation, and the quiet rituals that give the game its character.

Throughout the year, The Hidden Parlor hosts curated programming including instructional sessions, open play, leagues, tournaments, and special gatherings that bring together enthusiasts from across New England. Guests are welcome to join open play, leagues, and lessons.

The Hidden Parlor was created to preserve the charm of the game while welcoming a new generation of players into its enduring traditions.
