A warm, instructor-guided session for players who enjoy learning as they play. Each session includes real game play with helpful direction, strategy insights, and answers to questions as they naturally come up.

Guided Play is ideal for players who know the basics and want to continue building confidence at the table. It is also a wonderful fit for those who simply enjoy having an instructor nearby while they play.

Players will be thoughtfully matched whenever possible based on experience level, pace of play, social preferences, and their individual goals for the session.

Each session stands on its own, so players may reserve a single date or return throughout the season for additional guided play. Please bring your current NMJL playing card.
Additional Notes

✨ Guided Play is designed for players who have completed introductory instruction, such as a 101 or 102 series, as well as players who are comfortable playing American Mahjong and enjoy having an instructor nearby for guidance, strategy insights, and questions as play unfolds.

✨ Please bring your current NMJL card. Cards are purchased separately. Members who received their card through membership should bring it with them.

✨ The Hidden Parlor is tucked away on the first floor and is handicap accessible. The address is shared upon registration or direct inquiry.

✨ A large on-site parking lot is available, with additional parking in the adjacent municipal lot and on nearby streets. Handicap-accessible parking is also available.

✨ Feel free to bring your own snacks and/or non-alcoholic beverages. Complementary coffee is provided.
